Manchester United’s “next Ronaldo” looks to be on his way out of Old Trafford

Manchester United winger, Memphis Depay looks likely to be on his way out of Manchester United.

According to reports from BBC Sport, Manchester United winger, Memphis Depay once dubbed “the next Cristiano Ronaldo” looks set for the exit doors at Old Trafford.

The Dutch midfielder has been out of favour under United boss, Jose Mourinho and the former Chelsea manager has said that Depay is free to go if the right offer is made for him. Whether that deal is a loan or a permanent move remains to be seen, but the starlets immediate future at the club looks very much in doubt.

French outfit, Lyon are believed to be leading the chase for the midfielder but have had 3 bids rebuffed by the Premier League giants. Depay, 22, joined Manchester United back in 2015 after being signed by fellow countryman, Louis Van Gaal for £31m. A player with bags of potential and undoubted quality to his game, Depay would be an asset to any club he would join, if given the chance to shine. With his chances limited at Old Trafford, it seems like the winger will be on his way out of the theater of dreams sooner rather than later.

Has Depay been given enough of a chance at Manchester United
