The Toffees have left it late but finally make a move in the shape of Lokomotiv Moscow striker, Oumar Niasse.
Perhaps the biggest underachievers in the Premier League as it currently stands, but Roberto Martinez has added real fire power to his squad this evening. They have brought in Oumar Niasse from Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow for a fee reported as £13.5 million.
The 25-year old comes with a big reputation from the Russian league and has already bagged 12 goals and 10 assists in his current campaign.
The forward has signed a four-year deal with Everton and he had this to say:
“It’s a great day for me, a big dream to play in the Premier League and a big dream to play for Everton.
Everton is one of the best teams in the Premier League and the Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world.
I know Everton is one of the big clubs here in England with history, the fans and the great players, so I’m very excited and happy to be here.”

The Mersyside outfit currently sit 12th in the Premier League and have a lot more to offer as we press on into the business end of the season. All people connected with the club will be hoping that Niasse’s reputation will increase and flourish even further when partnered with the in-form Romelu Lukaku.
He becomes one of the Toffees most expensive purchases in their history after they pipped interest from other Premier League clubs who were circling.
