Benfica defender, Victor Lindelof’s potential January move to Premier League giants, Manchester United has not been ruled out says boss, Rui Vitoria.

Benfica boss, Rui Vitoria has not ruled out a January move for Swedish defender, Victor Lindelof to Manchester United.

The 22-year-old hot-prospect has impressed this season for the Portuguese giants and has been lapping up some serious interest from Manchester United, according to BBC Sport.

Lindelof, a player who can play at both centre-half and right-back has shown his versatility and outstanding ability in his 21 appearances for Benfica so far this season.

United have not commented on the speculation but Vitoria said: “If there are exits we will find solutions.”

United boss, Jose Mourinho has insinuated that he will be looking to bolster his squad in the January transfer window if they are to put up a serious challenge for the Premier League title. Could Lindelof be the ideal signing for the Red Devils to help them solidify their defence?
